I would like to draw the kind attention of the authorities concerned the abatement of auto fare. The auto fare collection in and around Dimapur needed to be revised as it is adversely impacting the public. Auto fare charges were taken into consideration during the lockdown. However, with the normalization of the situation it is needed that the auto fare must be minimized.
In addition to the end of the lockdown the road conditions are far better than it used to be. Back than when there were potholes everywhere the auto fare from Chümoukedima to Dimapur was RS 40 per person, but now the roads are well repaired and well maintained which does helps the three wheelers move faster and reach the destination faster. Yet, why we passengers are charged RS 80 -100 per person. It would be appreciable if the auto fare is been minimized for the public.
If this matter could kindly be looked upon at the earliest, it will ease a very huge problem of the public. Hoping to receive a positive response.
