Peren, April 26 (MExN): The total restriction on vehicular movement in the stretch between Peletkie Junction and Old Jalukie along the Dimapur to Peren route has been extended for one more month with effect from April 25. The restriction was first put in place on March 25 from 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily, to facilitate smooth completion of two-lane construction works along NH 129. In this connection, Peren Deputy Commissioner Sentiwapang Aier on Tuesday advised all commuters to take the alternate route from Peren Town (Bana Ward) to Old Jalukie via Mbungkitia (Old Road) and vice-versa during the time and days of restriction.
