Mokokchung, October 17 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung has lifted the restriction on the movement of heavy vehicles along NH-702D (Mokokchung–Mariani Road) with immediate effect following the completion of repair works and receipt of technical clearance from the Border Roads Organisation (BRO). According to a notification, the decision follows a communication from the Border Magistrate, Tzurangkong confirming that BRO’s 103 RCC (GREF) has certified the road suitable for heavy vehicle movement. It informed that movement of heavy vehicles up to a maximum of 12 wheels shall be permitted on the said stretch of NH-702D until further notice.
