The Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto, in collaboration with Skysam Church from Seoul, South Korea, successfully hosted a two-day Revival Crusade on August 23 and 24 at the Sumi Baptist Church. This is one of the largest Baptist churches in the Asian continent.
The crusade featured renowned South Korean Speaker, Rev. Sky Dadah Oh, Pastor Skysam Church. who led the congregation through a series of spiritually uplifting services. The event drew an estimated crowd of over 8,000 attendees from various walks of life. A total of three services were held during the two-day event. Rev. Sky Dadah Oh delivered powerful sermons centered on the theme of True Freedom Through Christ: Freedom from evil and temptation, encouraging believers to overcome life's challenges through faith and spiritual discipline. He also shared his personal testimony, where he made sure that as an expression of Gratitude to the Lord , would usually say, Thank you Jesus at least 3,000 times a day. Spiritual exercise, He further emphasised that the strength he receives is not by his own, but through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ manifested by the Holy Spirit.
"Sometimes people assume I’m powerful, but it’s not me, it's God working through me," he said. "If you believe in yourself and have faith, it shall be done according to His will."
The final service was chaired by Livika S. Yeptho, with a revival song presented by the South Point West Prayer Fellowship. The invocation prayer was led by Khekugha N. Zhimo, Associate Pastor (Sector), followed by a special song from Nogheli Chipiku.
The offertory prayer was invoked by Kabo Achumi, Associate Pastor (Sector), and scripture reading was done by Ghutoshe Katty, Deacon of Sumi Baptist Church Zunheboto.
