Peren, July 1 (MExN): Regular Graduate Teacher’s Forum (RGTF) Peren Unit has appealed Department of School Education, Nagaland to rectify anomalies detected in the present tentative seniority list of Graduate Teachers (GTs) reiterating that the department must applied same yard stick while doing arrangement of teacher’s seniority to show equal treatment among same cadre.
In a press note issued by it convenor, Yanrenthung Ezung, the RGTF Peren Unit alleged that there were “various anomalies in the present tentative seniority list of GTs, the forum said GTs appointed in 2010 were made senior to GTs appointed in 1999 and so on.”
Therefore, the forum has appealed to the department to give seniority to all the GTs from the date of appointment in order to solve the problem of seniority clashes of its cadre. Supporting the three representation submitted by ANSTA on July 31, 2021 by RGTF Nagaland on May 24 and by RGTF Dimapur unit on June 7, the forum has requested the education department to rectify the anomalies at the earliest.
