
Kohima, August 31 (MExN): Various Rotary International (RI) Clubs donated three sets of oxygen concentrators to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland as a COVID Response Project on August 26 at the Chief Minister’s Office, Kohima.
According to a DIPR report, as a COVID Response Project by Rotary Club of Sainte Marie Garros Centenaire (Reunion Island France), Indian Business Club(Paris, France), Rotary Club of Mumbai Ghatkopar (RI Dist 3141), Rotary Club of Nagpur South East(RI Dist 3030), Indian Chamber of International Business(France) along with the host club, Rotary Club of Kohima (RI Dist 3240) donated three sets of oxygen concentrators in the presence of Amardeep S Bhatia; KD Vizo, ITS; Manpreet Singh Nagi; Rajan R Thaokar; Kohima Rotary Club President, Rtn Kezhokhoto Savi; First Lady and PP Rtn Neisatuo Mero.
To embrace the RI motto- ‘Service Above Self’ and to fulfill the year’s theme- ‘Serve to Change Lives’, the President of Rotary Club Kohima urged the citizens to serve the community especially in time of pandemic COVID-19.
Savi added that the club would be donating few oxygen concentrators to remote area of Community/Primary Health Centres in Phek District and some more oxygen concentrators are in the pipeline and the club would be donating vending machine to one of the Government High Schools in Kohima Town.
