Riding test for 2-wheeler taxi permits on May 20 in Wokha

Wokha, May 17 (MExN): The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Office, Wokha, has informed that the riding test for applicants seeking two-wheeler taxi permits will be conducted on May 20 at the office compound of the District Transport Officer (DTO), Wokha, from 10:00 am onwards.

According to the information issued by the IA, Wokha, the test will be conducted under the supervision of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (Enforcement) as convenor, with the Enforcement Inspector and Motor Vehicle Inspector serving as members. The EAC (Transport) has been assigned to oversee the smooth conduct of the process.

Candidates have been informed that two-wheelers will be provided at the venue for the test. However, applicants may also bring their own vehicles, provided the engine capacity is 125cc or above.

The authority further stated that any damage caused to department-provided vehicles during the test will be borne by the concerned candidate. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test, and the department will not be responsible for any injury, accident, or mishap during the process.

Applicants have been directed to bring two recent passport-size photographs along with a valid government-issued ID proof and report to the venue on time.
