Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The River Belt Colony (RBC) Council has informed that widening of approach road within the colony will be carried out where deemed necessary especially in turning point, curve portion for which the ‘patadars’ are requested to bear with the public decision. The representatives of RBC council in a notice said that this decision has been made in pursuance of the decision taken during general meeting held on February 26. The councilors and the elders of the colony will execute and implement the action with effect from March 15 without further notice.
The Council has also informed that stray dogs or animals will be ‘killed at sight’ in order to maintain security of life, property and to keep colony neat and clean. The notice also added that before the onset of monsoon season, nobody will be allowed to let flow/waste products of septic tank in the drainage which is hazardous to health and to avoid any contaminated and infectious disease, faulty smell etc. Henceforth, such outlet will be cemented or patch up permanently by the colony authority.
Further, fine or necessary action will be taken against defaulters as per resolution adopted by the colony. Residents of neighbouring areas are also requested to ensure that no untoward incidents happen to their pet animals.
