Kohima, September 13 (MExN): Rev Moa Longchari Cancer Foundation (RMLCF) in collaboration with Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), successfully organized its first-ever blood donation drive on September 13.
A total of 42 pints of blood were collected through the initiative.
The drive was aimed at strengthening the blood bank and addressing the critical shortage of blood for patients in emergencies, surgeries, and long-term treatments such as cancer care.
Organizers expressed that the purpose went beyond collection, it was to foster a culture of responsibility, compassion, and voluntary giving within the community.
The Foundation extended gratitude to all volunteers and donors who came forward, underlining that such contributions play a vital role in saving lives and strengthening healthcare in the state.
