Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): The Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) 2013 Dimapur unit has questioned the Government that when it expected sincerity and dedication in performing their duties, “where is their sincerity and dedication in giving us our basic salary regularly?”
In a press release, RMSA Teachers 2013, Dimapur expressed anguish on irregular payment of salary over the years and deplored the indifferent attitude shown by the concerned authorities. The dismal financial condition has compelled the families to deprive themselves of “enjoying the festive seasons.” Their children’s future is at stake due to pending admissions, it added.
“Facing financial problems traveling to work have become a part and parcel of our lives,” the release stated adding that even providing minimum basic necessities have become a huge burden for the aggrieved teachers.
The release further stated that it gave them hope when the Government published the absorption of SSA 2010 and 2013 and RMSA 2013 batches in the local media. Howevr, the present dismal condition even in the delay of payment of salary has created doubt on the absorption to come into effect, it stated. “It is time that the Government hears the cry and pain of the suffering teachers who are so called the backbone of the nation and expedite the process to bring a permanent solution,” the release added.
