Dimapur, October 6 (MExN): Rtn. Prabhat Kumar Kedia, District Governor, District-3240, Rotary International official will be visiting Rotary Club Kohima on October 12, 2011.
Rotary Club, as one of the oldest international club in the world, the District Governor holds much responsibility in the district. Besides holding the District Assembly, District Conference and various training and meetings, the District Governor officially visits each club in the district during the one year tenure. In the present tenure Rtn. Kalyan Banerjee from India is the President of Rotary International.
A press note issued by by Kezhokhoto Savi, president, Rotary Club Kohima, Rotary International, Dist-3240 stated that the District Governor will arrive on October 12 afternoon and will hold several session like business with the Board of Directors, office bearers in separate where the Governor shall inspect the records of the club including attendance, weekly meetings, bye-laws, club activities, constitution, plan, budget, etc.
The note also mentioned that Rotary Club Kohima is hosting a special function and dinner in honour of Rtn. Prabhat Kumar Kedia, District Governor at Hotel Grandeur Kohima on October 12, 2011 from 6.00 pm onward. The President of Rotary Club Kohima Rtn. Kezhokhoto Savi has requested all the rotarians with families to attend the function and dinner without fail and further informed that the Board of Directors shall have its meeting on October 11, 2011 at Hotel Grandeur Kohima at 6.00 pm.
