Royal Enfield Mokokchung honours MMC sanitation workers with Honorary Awards

The Royal Enfield Mokokchung (REM), a voluntary Club formed by Royal Enfield riders of Mokokchung, organized its 3rd Honorary Award Ceremony on October 2 under the theme ‘Let’s Go Clean’ at MMC conference hall, Mokokchung on October 2. 

REM gave away the Honorary Awards for 2021 to all the Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) sanitation workers. 
In a brief ceremony, Temjensuba, President, REM, said that this year’s honorary award was given to the MMC sanitation workers to acknowledge the services that they provide and for all the hardships they have to go through in keeping the town clean.

He also said that this was a way to remind that Mokokchung has been awarded the cleanest town and that the youngsters of Mokokchung have a bigger responsibility to keep the tag and to come forward and contribute towards the maintenance of the town. 

The MMC officials thanked the REM for spreading the awareness on cleanliness and encouraging to the MMC workers through their gesture.

The REM Honorary Award is a yearly event where the club identifies notable and outstanding individuals and groups who contribute towards the betterment of society and awards them. 

REM has twenty-three members from all walks of life and they go by the motto: Ride to unite. REM has also been nominated the Governor’s award 2021
