DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 1 (MExN): The Khonoma Rüffüno, Kohima organised its 67th anniversary on September 1 at the Heritage, Kohima. Khrielie Kevichüsa, Rtd. IAS was the speaker. He spoke in the light of Christian living and exhorted the gathering to work with zeal placing God above all things. Felicitations were made to the toppers of Khonomas in Kohima who had excelled in the NBSE, NU, and various other exams from others universities.
A renowned elderly citizen of the village Rano Shaiza was felicitated for her contribution to Khonoma and to the Nagas in general. As part of the event, notable figures of the village Vikepelhou Meyase, Dr. Buno Liegise, Dr. Atsi Dolie, Akuno Meyase, Kevisekho Kruse, Charles Chasie, Dr. Kepelhusie Terhüja, and Kolachalie Seyie spoke in various capacities as resource persons. The event ended with a sumptuous community feast.
