Since Nagaland is a state full of important VIP’s and “wannabe” VIP’s, here’s some traffic rules to follow. This is to educate us illiterates on how to behave or drive whenever we come across one of the VIP motorcades, regardless of ruling party or opposition:
• Make sure that you do not travel or use the route any VIP’s are taking that day, so that you may not be a hindrance to them. Since any or every vehicle using the same route is considered a hindrance to the body guards in charge.
• If you unfortunately see a VIP motorcade, especially Taka Masa’s get out of your vehicle and look for the safest hiding place and remember, never forget to leave your co-passengers behind, in your vehicle.
• In the case of an emergency and you have to travel and take the same route as the VIP’s, remember to put on your safety gear and helmet. Cricket gears or American football gears are the most ideal. Due to the padding.
• Make sure that you are well insured, (both-the vehicle and the person inside), so that even though you unfortunately come across their motorcade (again, especially Taka Masa’s), the violence of the “body guards on rampage” may be insured.
• If by any chance you are brave enough to take them on, remember to make sure that you are a Martial Arts Black Belt and a weapons expert. Training available at designated underground camps or at CIJW in Vairangte, Mizoram.
• Another important rule is: make sure to tag along a doctor or a nurse with all their basic medical needs, just in case you are unfortunate enough to come across a VIP motorcade, and if unlucky, more unfortunate enough to come across Taka Masa and his Elite group of “Commando Rejects.”
• Those who were unfortunate to come across such rampaging motorcades need to start a “VIP Motorcades Anonymous” so that they may help each other (members) to forget their ordeal. And once again be able to drive again without fear or hang-ups.
• Always remember, the road belongs to the VIP’s only and not even an “ant” can defy their jurisdiction, and get away with it. For it is clearly stated in the Constitution of VIP Motorcades Act 010; “any living thing, be it of the animal race or the human race, should not disturb or slow down the VIP Morcades. If for any reasons this rule is violated by anyone, he/she is liable to unforgettable thrashing and also can destroy the vehicle if they so desire”.
• All VIP Motorcades, especially the body guards have been given power through the “Special Powers ACT” by their Bosses, thus they are free to attack, destroy or harass any public vehicles, which use the same path as them, either coming towards them from the front or behind them.
• Last but not the least, keep it in mind that the VIP motorcades are beyond any form of law or discipline, thus they can get away with anything in the name of the law, especially the VIP’s law. Keep and follow these rules and I can ensure you that you will never encounter these VIP Motorcades, who have no regard, no respect for the citizens/public, and are very much like puppies, loyal to only those who feed them.
In conclusion: After all is said and done, these bodyguards need to realize that their oath is to protect the public and not harass them, plus they are answerable not only to the VIP they are guarding, but to one and all. The bodyguards also need to be briefed by their bosses regularly, for even the “major” or the person in charge can be as irresponsible as the young Jawans he is commandeering. There should be special training for the PSO’s and the “Majors,” for to train each and every policeman in the State would be a difficult and costly exercise.
