The 33rd Local Board of Administration (LBA) meeting of Sainik School Punglwa being held on July 10.
Dimapur, July 10 (MExN): Sainik School Punglwa (SSPN) convened its 33rd Local Board of Administration (LBA) meeting at the school premises on July 10 under the chairmanship of Major General Naveen Kumar Nijhawan, YSM, Chief of Staff, Spear Corps and Chairman of the LBA.
The meeting was attended by Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland, S Supongmeren Jamir, along with Deputy Commissioner of Peren Hiazu Meru, Dean of the College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Jalukie, Dr Ingudam Shakuntala, Executive Engineer, PWD (Housing), Education Division, G Vikhepu Yeptho, Joint Director and Nodal Officer, Directorate of School Education, Khriesano Nagi, representative of the Superintending Engineer, PWD (Housing), Vikhrielie Seleyi, SSPA President Renilo Nuh, Principal of JNV Jalukie K Kapfo, and Capt Rajendra Prasad, AGE E/M, MES.
During the meeting, Principal Col (Dr) Smita Misra presented a comprehensive briefing on the school's achievements and strategic initiatives over the past year. The presentation covered ongoing infrastructure projects, measures to improve academic performance and National Defence Academy (NDA) results, holistic development programmes for cadets, and future development plans.
The Board reviewed the institution's progress and provided guidance to further strengthen academic and NDA performance, enhance cadet development, and improve campus infrastructure.
The Chairman appreciated the school's progress and urged all stakeholders to continue working towards its overall development in their respective areas of responsibility.
In her closing remarks, the Principal expressed gratitude to the Chairman, the Government of Nagaland and members of the Local Board of Administration for their continued support and contributions to the growth of the institution, the release stated.
