Salute to the indomitable courage and bravery of the Central Industrial Security Force

Amit Kumar Balan

Assistant Sub Inspector, Central Industrial Security Force, Dimapur Airport (Nagaland)

Today there is an atmosphere of fear around the world. This is due to the corona virus. Thousands of people have died due to this worldwide epidemic. The epidemic started in the city of Wuhan in China and now the virus has spread almost all over the worldThe World Health Organization has already declared it a global medical emergency.

India is also not untouched by this epidemic. And there is an atmosphere of fear among people across the country, according to government data, more than 100 cases of Sea Void 19 (Corona virus) have been reported in India and have been warned by the government across the country. People have been asked to stay away from crowded places. School colleges and many government institutions have been closed in many states. People are afraid to move out of their homes. Many large organizations have advised their employees to work from home.

But on the other hand, flight services are running smoothly across the country. However international flights have been canceled. But all domestic flights are running smoothly. The members of the Central Industrial Security Force deployed in the security of airports, while remaining closest to the people infected with the virus, are engaged in security work as before, showing indomitable courage. As we all know, airports have the highest risk of this type of virus. Because all the travelers are coming to India from abroad. They all come by air. And the Central Industrial Security Force personnel are the first to come in contact with them. But CISF personnel are busy in security check keeping their duties paramount and today where people are being advised to stay away from public places. On the other hand, the members of this force are doing the security investigation work smoothly, showing indomitable courage and efficiency while remaining closest to the danger. While doctors have asked people to maintain a distance of 3 meters between themselves, the screeners of CISF are coming in direct contact with the passengers and doing security checks in front of them without any fear as before. Even in such an environment of fear, this kind of efficiency gives the Central Industrial Security Force a different place.

However instructions have been issued by the force headquarters to all the airport units and cleanliness is being taken care of by the force member and proper management of glove mask and sanitizer is done during the security check. Force officers are constantly being told by senior officers about the nature of the virus and the reasons for its spread.

In this atmosphere of chaos, all the airports in India are safe and protected by the Central Industrial Security Force and such work is undoubtedly appreciated.
