A consultative meeting on Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Zunheboto, on January 29. The meeting was chaired by Dharam Raj, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, and Chairman of the Committee.
The primary objective of the meeting was to deliberate and prepare for the implementation of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 in the Akuhaito Aspirational Block.
Key issues discussed included health and nutrition for children between the ages of six months to six years, provision of functional toilets and safe drinking water in all Anganwadi centres, and ensuring functional toilets for girls in schools as a top priority. The meeting also focused on identifying necessary steps to achieve these goals. In addition, the importance of vaccinating animals, particularly bovine animals, was highlighted to ensure positive outcomes.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 will be officially launched at the DC Office, Zunheboto, on February 2.
