Tuensang, November 6 (MExN): District Administration, Tuensang in Collaboration with BJP Tuensang District and Chang Sports Association, Tuensang organised Sansad khel Mahotsav at Parade Ground Tuensang on November 5 under the theme ‘Fit Youth For Viksit Bharat.’
Speaking on the occasion, Toking, EAC (Sadar) Tuensang express his gratitude to the S Phangnon Konyak MP (RS) for taking initiative for the youth of Nagaland in the field of Sports.
He added that Sports Person has more avenues with the support of the Government, as we have witnessed athletes from Nagaland representing at National level. He appealed the Athletes to participate actively with dedication and discipline and uphold the spirit of games.
Other highlights of the programme were invocation by Tongpi, Youth Pastor SBC, and welcome address by T Chongshen, President BJP Tuensang District. The programme was chaired by L Pukoi. A total of 150 athletes participate at high jump, long jump, 100 meter race, shoot put, discus throw, top spinning, stilt bamboo walk and cockfight.
