DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 29 (MExN): The 44th Annual Sports Week of Sao Chang College, Tuensang concluded on November 29 at Loyem Memorial Ground Tuensang with Longre Chang, President, Eastern Nagaland College Students’ Union (ENCSU) gracing the closing function as the guest of honour.
Chang acknowledged the students and staffs for their enthusiasm in sports activities and participating actively in the college annual sports week. He also congratulated the winners for displaying their excelling skills in games and sports.
The students and teaching faculty were organized into four houses namely; Manchester United, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid. The overall champion in the sports week was Real Madrid house while Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United bagged the second and third position respectively.
Mongthau chaired the closing programme and Nasetmongko pronounced invocation prayer. Welcome note was addressed by Omlila Chang, AGS, SCCSU and vote of thanks was proposed by R Lizonthung Shitiri, Convenor, Sports Committee. Benediction prayer was pronounced by Puthso S and sports week official down was performed by the National Cadet Corps (NCC).
