Tuensang, July 3 (MExN): The Department of Physics, Sao Chang College Tuensang organized a national webinar on the topic ‘Learn to discover and succeed through Physics at the graduation level’ on June 30.
The webinar was organised for aspiring students who wish to take up physics as one of the subjects at the graduation level, with Dr Sanjeev Kr Bhattacharyya, Senior Geophysicist, Central Headquarters Geological Survey of India, Kolkata as the resource person.
During the webinar, Dr Sanjeev Kr Bhattacharyya spoke on different scopes, importance and prospect of studying physics at graduation level. He explained few theories of physics and their application in day to day life. Instead of fearing the subject, study physics which will open up many opportunities to explore potentials and succeed in life, he encouraged the student participants.
The webinar was chaired by Nunsangtola, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Sao Chang College while welcome note was delivered by Longtichang Tzudir, Principal In-charge of the College. 75 participants registered for the webinar and 60 participants attended the programme.The webinar concluded with vote of thanks by Dipak Nath, Head, Department of Physics, Sao Chang College.
