DIMAPUR, JULY 22 (MExN): Sarita Rathod, a mixed martial artist training out of The Combat Academy Nagaland made her professional MMA debut at the recently held Bidang Fighting Championship at Nehru Stadium on July 21.
A press release from Victor Angami, Manager of The Combat Academy informed that she went up against Surbala Laishram from Manipur and lost her bout via Doctor’s stoppage at the 51st second in the first round in the catch weight bout between them.
Avizo Lanamai who did his fight camp at Kaizen MMA at Bangalore and fighting out of The Combat Academy won his bout via KO in the first round in his bout against Arun Nagar from Uttar Pradesh.
