SASU visit educational institution

Kohima, September 11 (MExN): The Southern Angami Students’ Union (SASU) in accordance with its yearly plan visited 3 Government High Schools within its jurisdiction- Government High School Kigwema, Government High School Kezocha and John Government High School, Viswema.  The Union had an interactive session with the students and a combined session with the parents and teachers of each school for better understanding between all parties.
In the course of this interaction, several important and necessary agendas were discussed. The main concerns discussed were that of quality education, moral education, time management and punctuality, teacher-student-parent relationships and significance and benefits of government schools. The Union emphasized on the issues pertaining to the present education scenario, the value of hard labor and also encouraged the students, educating them with the government sponsored scholarships.
The Union also thanked the teachers for being the moulder of the students and the path to the future. The Union acknowledged the teachers for their selfless and relentless sacrifice they offered to their students.  SASU thanked parents for supporting and encouraging the Union in every way. The Union further emphasized on team work between the students, teachers and parents for better results, academically and morally.  It is also challenged them to do more than what they are doing now for a more productive and a better future. It also acknowledged all schools and parents for their encouragement and for their warm response, and further sought their cooperation in its future activities. This was stated in a release issued by SASU president Keduvi Zhotso.
