Sazo undertakes tour to Chozu Basa

Kohima, April 3 (MExN): Chotisuh Sazo, parliamentary secretary for Social Welfare and Women Development undertook a visit to Chozu Basa and held interaction with Chozuba, Khesoh, Ighavito and Chozu Basa villages. The visit was necessitated in view of the new road construction that would connect Chozuba to that of Kijumetou under Kohima district- 23 kms stretch of road would be constructed in this phase with under NLCPR in the Ministry of DONER.
Mention may be made here that, the road would connect four districts i.e, Dimapur, Kohima, Phek and Kiphire. With the completion of the road, travelling distance would be considerably reduced for the commuters. Sazo was accompanied by ADC Chozuba, Er Vekho Swuro, Katiry SDO, Shri. Mengutuo Rio and several public leaders. Sazo fervently requested the villagers to extend their cooperation for the construction of the road. He also thanked the DAN Government under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio that various developmental works long aspired by the people has become a reality and the sanctioning of this project was a case in point. He also urged the contractor to work with diligence whereby the long aspiration of the people would be fulfilled.
Meanwhile all the villagers have also expressed their gratitude to parliamentary secretary for his initiative and prayed that similar initiative would be undertaken for the common good of the people in the constituency and the people of the state at large. Besides, they have assured the government and contractor of their fullest cooperation and support.
