
DIMAPUR, March 20 (MExN): A seven-years long dream of purchasing a new ambulance for the Bharat Sevashram Sangha was fulfilled today with the State Bank of India (SBI) Dimapur donating an amount of 4. 94 lakhs under their Community Service Banking scheme. A function was held for the handing over of the cheque at Pranab Vidypith Hr. Sec School Dimapur.
The cheque was handed over by C. R. Mangaraj General Manager SBI of Local Head Office Guwahati to the concerned authorities. With much positive attitude, that the organization would use every paisa of it for the purpose of serving the community, the General Manager also made known that the bank will always be with them in times of ‘ups and downs.’
Earlier, during the day the bank also donated an amount of 40,000 towards the fund of Nagaland Tennis Association (NTA) towards the promotion of tennis sports in the state.
The donation towards the tennis association to help them to equip with more sporting kits and build up the interest of the aspiring players and to promote the tennis game in the state, said DGM State Bank of India Regional Office, Dimapur.
