Rio and others at the handing over of the loan sanction letters of SBI to entrepreneurs in Kohima on December 1.

Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today handed over loan sanction letters of State Bank of India (SBI) through Business Association of Nagas (BAN) to the entrepreneurs.
The handing over of the loan sanction letters was done during the celebration of 60th statehood day in Kohima.
The initiative undertaken by Business Association of Nagas and the sincerity of State Bank of India to fund 1000 entrepreneurs across the state is a welcome step in shaping the state economic vision.
Rio along with Vincent Menachery, Chief General Manager, North East Circle SBI jointly handed over the sanction letters to the first 11(eleven) entrepreneurs through BAN, President L Mongkum Jamir.
The total loan sanctioned is Rs 4.57 Crore. The beneficiaries are from Tuensang, Longleng, Wokha and Dimapur district encompassing various sectors.
Later, SBI donated Rs 10 lakh for Hornbill Festival.
