SBI pledge to provide better customer service

Dimapur, July 5 (MExN): The State Bank of India, Dimapur Branch celebrated the ‘State Bank Day’ on July 1, 2011 with a pledge by its employees to provide better customer service. It was followed by distribution of pen and tea to all its customers, stated a press release issued by Dimapur
Branch Chief Manager.  
In the evening eminent senior citizens an pensioners of Dimapur Branch namely Lungbe Zeme, ex-MLA, I. Meren Longchar, president, Dimapur Ao Pensioner’s Union and Yimnazulu Ao, IInd World War Veteran (1st Assam Regiment) were felicitated. Bedangla Ao, president BACAY’s women and child welfare society was also felicitated for her selfish contribution for upliftment of women self help groups in Dimapur district. Ashok Kr Das, Assistant General Manager, Regional Office, Dimapur and other senior functionaries were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Kr Das expressed his happiness for organising such as eventful programme by felicitating pensioners who have rendered their selfless services to society. He also said the bank is looking forward for upliftment of the people in the state by extending its business even in the remotest part.  Chief Manager Ranjan Roy offered his sincere thanks to all the participants for making the programme a grand success.
