DIMAPUR, JANUARY 15 (MExN): A music school offering lessons in musical instruments and vocals was opened on Saturday, January 15. ‘School of Music’ was the brainchild of music teacher Mhonyamo Kikon, who is also the director of the school.
Ababe Ezung, information & publicity secretary of the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and XL president, graced the inaugural as the chief guest.
Kikon, a music graduate and a B. Th degree holder was teaching music at various Bible colleges, before he started the school. He said that the school is under Trinity School of Music, London and will offer full-fledged classes. At present there are 35 students and three teachers. It is located at Purana Bazaar (East Dimapur).
Lessons will be imparted on the piano, keyboard, guitar, violin and vocals.
