Dimapur, May 2 (MExN): The Peren Block ATMA sponsored the programme for inauguration of the Farm School on “Naga Dal” at Lemangki Peren Kipeuzang which was graced by Khrienuo C. Metha, Deputy Commissioner & Chairperson, ATMA Peren District inaugurated on April 28.
The DC exhorted the participants to take up the challenges in delivering whatever that had been taught and learned to make it into reality. She also encourage the farmers to be more updated in knowing whatever programmes that had been undertaken by various Agri & Allied Departments and even question on whatever doubts they have in mind.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Rokozo Dolie, VAS & Convenor, ATMA Peren Block where short speeches were delivered by the Farm School Teacher, Mzailu on his experiences in cultivation of Naga Dal with the officials and the farmers present at the programme. On the other hand, Kumui Nring, Deputy Project Director, ATMA Peren District dwelt on the concept of the farm school and its vision. Azuto, E. O & BTT Member delivered the vote of thanks and specially thanked all 25 participants who took part in the programme.
