Dimapur, July 16 (MExN): The School of Music Dimapur, Naga United Village conducted a two-day music seminar at its campus on July 14 and 15. The seminar brought together church leaders, choir members, and aspiring musicians from different backgrounds, welcoming participants of all ages.

The seminar featured separate sessions for children and adults, allowing participants to learn in an environment suited to their respective age groups and levels of understanding. One of the highlights of the event was its broad age range, with the youngest participant being just 3 years old and the oldest over 80 years of age, reflecting the shared interest in music across generations.

The sessions focused on strengthening participants’ musical foundation through basic music theory and vocal training. Designed to equip individuals involved in church music ministries, as well as those seeking to develop their musical skills, the program provided practical learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

Having attained 26 years in music education, the School of Music Dimapur continues to nurture generations of musicians through quality instruction, community engagement, and initiatives that promote music as a meaningful avenue for learning and service.
