Schools cautioned against violating lockdown orders

Kohima, May 10 (MExN): All government and private schools in the state have been cautioned that reopening of schools in any manner that is in violation of the lockdown order issued by the Government will invite disciplinary action.


According to the order issued by Principal Director for School Education, Shanavas C, it has been reported that few schools in the State have issued notifications regarding resuming of classes in a phased manner which is in violation of the lockdown order issued by the Government of Nagaland.


As such, the Principal Director cautioned Government and private schools that violating the lockdown order is prohibited and "severe disciplinary action will be initiated against the violators as per appropriate provisions of law."


All parents and guardians have also been directed not to send their children to schools until official orders for reopening of schools are issued by the competent authority.
