SCVC objects to shifting of EAC Longshen HQ

MON, SEPTEMBER 30 (MExN): The Sheanghah Chingnyu Village Council (SCVC) has objected to the shifting of EAC Longshen HQ. A press release from the council said that the EAC Longshen HQ was established in Sheanghah Chingnyu village in 1981. “We have come to notice the gangster type policy for shifting the said EAC HQ without concern of the main landowners namely (a) Sheanghah Chingnyu village (b) Tangnyu village,” the council stated.

It further alleged that “false clearance was written by unauthorized person in the Sheanghah Chingnyu Council pad which is totally illegal.” The SCVC further said that “we do not have Longshen village and Chinglen village approved by the Government of India/Nagaland till date but signatures were put in the letter of shifting the said EAC HQ to prove the majority which is false/illegal and challengable in the court of law.” The SCVC urged the Nagaland State Government and all authorities concerned “not to initiate the false letter submitted without the mandate of the landowner, farmers and public in general.” It cautioned that in the case of failure to comply with this appeal, the Government of Nagaland will be “solely responsible for all eventualities.”
