In another case of drowning, a 19 year-old youth drowned in the Chathe River. The tragic incident happened in the afternoon on August 31 on the 5th Mile Model village stretch of the river. The victim was said to be a trainee at a PMKVY skilling centre. His body was retrived by State Disaster Response Force personnel at around 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
