SEBS at Dimapur railway station on June 7 & 8

Dimapur, June 5 (MExN): The Science Express Biodiversity Special (SEBS) train will be in Dimapur on June 7 and 8, 2013 at Dimapur railway station for all to visit and learn free of cost, informed, Member Secretary, NPCB & State Nodal Officer, NGC Programme, Rusovil John in a press release. Describing the train, he stated that of the 16 coaches of SEBS, 8 are solely dedicated to showcasing the biodiversity spread across all the bio-geographical zones of India through a variety of interactive exhibits, short films and videos that are shown on Plasma and LED TV screens, large format displays, kiosks, and backlit panels. 

The rest of the coaches have informative exhibits on climate change, energy and water conservation and topical issues in science. 
It further mentioned students are guided to perform various experiments and activities to understand concepts of the various themes that are projected in the train. In addition, on the railway platform, young visitors will be encouraged to play several exciting games as well as participate in quizzes, painting competitions, and elocutions.
