Kohima, September 6 (MExN): Under the Environment Protection Act and directives from the Central Government, Nagaland has notified on constitution of State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) for the state. The committee comprises of I Panger Jamir, IFS Retd PCCF and HoFF, Nagaland as chairman; T Yanger Ao, Retd Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control and Member; and Addl PCCF (Environment and Climate Change) as Member Secretary. The Authority will function from the office of the PCCF and HoFF, Upper Forest Colony, Kohima. The Authority shall exercise such powers and follow such procedures as specified in the above-mentioned notification (as amended from time to time).
