Zunheboto: Sumi Baptist Akukuho Kuqhakulu Nito Mount, Zunheboto Widow’s seminar was held on May 20 and 21, at Suruhuto Town Baptist Church. The theme for this seminar was “Godly Widow” (Luke 2:36-37).
Around 45 widows attended the seminar from neighbouring Suruhuto area, Saghemi, Phuyemi, Surumi and the host church Suruhuto. The speakers for the seminar were Rev. Ahoto Awomi Evangelist SBAK, Hekato Awomi Youth Secretary, Khekavi Yeptho Mission Secretary, Kuholi Chishi Women Secretary, Aboli Aye Lecturer NTC.
The event of this seminar was sponsored by Suruhuto Town Baptist Church. Suruhuto Town Baptist Church thanked Major Yogesh Kumar Suruhuto Post Commander and Subedar B.K. Rai, Second Post Commander and all ranks of Delta Company of 5th Assam Rifles, Zunheboto for sponsoring a lunch on the first day. The seminar gave an opportunity for the widows to come together, to share and showed them new ways to move forward and encouraged them to place their hope in God. The seminar ended with a reflection session.
