Zunheboto, June 13 (MExN): Nagaland Tourism and Art & Culture, Advisor, H Khehovi Yepthomi today highlighted the various activities, schemes, and initiatives undertaken by BJP government across the country during the past 8 years under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing a press meet on 'Seva, Sushasan Aur Gareeb Kalyan Parv' at BJP Zunheboto district office in the presence of BJP office bearers and Mandal presidents, Yepthomi said, 'Seva, Sushasan Aur Gareeb Kalyan Parv' is about service, good governance and upliftment of the poor.
The programme is being organised across the country to commemorate Modi's 8 years successful government from June 1 to 15. It is also to facilitate the successful flagship programs and schemes launched and implemented successfully under PM Modi's government, Yepthomi said.
Besides other updates, the Advisor said, “Our BJP Karyakartas are on a massive cleanliness drive: cleaning of Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres and sub-centres, Cleaning of cemeteries, places of worship, and tree plantation. This 'Cleanliness Drive' has been initiated as part of 'Seva', which means ‘service’.”
He said shared on the visitation to Orphanage Homes and Old Age; Bike Rally in Mokokchung and Mon; visit to Mon Medical College, ERMS Mokokchung and Astro Turf, Tuensang; reaching out to the beneficiaries of PM’s Health Card holders, ration card holders, Kisan Card holders, beneficiaries of free cylinders, housing for all beneficiaries etc, ‘free medical camp' in all the Districts of Nagaland among others.
In Nagaland, he said the 15 day-long celebration will wind up with a 'Tribal Mela' in Kohima, to be organised by ST Morcha, Nagaland, on June 15.
