Shamator, September 9 (MExN): The District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) of Shamator convened its monthly meeting on Wednesday to review road connectivity, infrastructure development, inter-departmental coordination, and the implementation of ongoing government schemes.
The meeting, held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and DPDB Vice Chairman Arikumba.
During the discussions, heads of offices and board members highlighted departmental bottlenecks and ground-level challenges requiring administrative intervention. Deliberating on the submissions, the board underlined the necessity of structured follow-ups and inter-departmental synergy to eliminate administrative hurdles.
Addressing the officials, the Deputy Commissioner directed all executing departments to maintain rigorous on-site monitoring of ongoing development works to ensure time-bound completion. He stressed that seamless coordination among departments remains vital for effective public service delivery and achieving the district's developmental targets.
The meeting also included a detailed PowerPoint presentation by the Agriculture Department outlining the status of its schemes and activities across the district, which was followed by a strategic review aimed at expanding agricultural interventions and farmer outreach.
Arikumba further urged the participating departments to institute periodic review mechanisms, sustain active administrative communication, and adopt a coordinated approach to bridge developmental gaps across Shamator district.
