Calling upon students and youth to shed feelings of superiority and inferiority and embrace change, Nuklutoshi on Friday urged them to cultivate a refined and progressive mindset for the future.

The younger generation must first abandon any self-proclaimed sense of superiority or inferiority asno individual is inherently superior or inferior to another,  he asserted addressing the inaugural programme of the fourth Chuchuyimlang Kaketshir Telongjem (CKT) Triennial Conference held at Chuchuyimlang village in Mokokchung district.

The conference is being organised on the theme “Created to Create: Kingdom Stewards,” with Nuklutoshi, attending as the chief guest and Senti Ao as the theme speaker on the inaugural day.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA said that while certain traditions may remain unchanged, necessary changes must be embraced to keep pace with a rapidly changing world.

To this end, he called upon the youth to cultivate a refined and progressive mindset as they lead the 15thgeneration of Chuchuyimlang.

Highlighting jealousy as a destructive force, the Nuklutoshi pointed out that  it hinders both personal growth and collective progress.

Emphasising the importance of respect, he urged the youth to foster a culture rooted in mutual regard and understanding.

He also encouraged the development of an attitude of gratitude and addressed issues of low self-esteem and inferiority complex, calling on young people to build self-confidence and self-motivation.

Further, the MLA advised the youth to step out of their comfort zones, uphold the dignity of labour, and develop skills for self-sustenance and self-reliance.

He also exhorted them to be Christian in heart and deed, encouraging regular reading and drawing guidance from the Bible.

God’s masterpiece
Speaking on the theme, Senti Ao stated that human beings are God’s masterpiece and that creativity is an innate quality by divine design.

Reflecting on who truly qualifies as a kingdom steward, he explained that stewardship begins with fulfilling God’s design for family life—entering into holy matrimony, raising children, and nurturing them in the fear of God.

He noted that serving others with love and kindness lies at the heart of God’s intended plan for humanity.

Highlighting responsibilities beyond human relationships, he urged people to love and care for creation, stressing the importance of environmental stewardship and ecological balance. He further remarked that technology is a gift born out of God-given creativity and must therefore be used responsibly.

During the inaugural programme, the vision of the fourth Triennial was presented by Tamanokdang, member of the CKT Educational Trust, while the CKT Dimapur Unit presented a special item.
The conference will conclude on January 12.
