Kevitho Kera
As you read this article of mine, don't take me as anti-Naga theologian or am unleashing a blind tirade against those who are in God's ministry. What I am writing is based on my experience of growing up in Nagaland for the past 34 years and working in various capacities in the ministry circle or Church circle. Fortunately our Church's pastor is a Biblically sound man and who speaks from the Bible and is not afraid to speak the truth. If I don't speak the truth or speak it out, God will one day ask me in Heaven "Kevitho what did you do with the talents I gave you. Did you multiply it or hide it?"
How many of you who are working in the Lord's ministry on the pulpit with the corrupt politicians or Bureaucrats seated in the front pew has said corruption is wrong that it is not Biblical and God hates it. I don't expect you to condemn them, condemnation is wrong. I also don't expect you to preach on it in their presence every time but occasionally. It doesn't have to be explicit but implicitly or tactfully. How many of you do that? How many of you say that siphoning off public money is wrong. How many of you represent Jesus, the truth truly. How many of you don't compromise?
How many of you treat people equally like for instance goes and shakes the hand and ask the welfare of a lowly peon or a 4th grade staff who is a Church member or a member of your ministry? Or do you just give more importance to an apparently "VIP" member such as Ministers or a Director or a Secretary.
These questions are asked not just to NBCC Officials or pastors but to all those who are working in the Lord's service. Have you compromised yourself for the fear of offending "Important" corrupt members of your Church or Ministry? Are you just a Supari chewing condemning guy or you go beyond that and deals with the heart issues, the truth. Ask yourself. God Bless.
