Shamator, April 7 (MExN): The 2nd edition of the Showuba Memorial Volleyball Tournament began on April 7 at Public Ground, Shamator.
Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports, S Keoshu Yimchunger, attended the opening programme. He thanked the organisers for providing a platform for youth and acknowledged the family of Lt Showuba for sponsoring the event.
Addressing the players, he stressed the importance of discipline, consistency, and regular practice in sports. He encouraged maintaining physical and mental fitness.
Fourteen teams are participating in the tournament, which is being organised by the Shamator District Volleyball Association.
