Makhel, December 29 (MExN): Minister for Higher and Technical Education and Urban Development, Nagaland Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu today called upon the youth to maintain unity and oneness through sports.
Addressing the Mao Student’s Union 49th annual gathering cum sports meet 2011 which was held at Makhel village here today, Dr Shurhozelie who is also the president of the Naga Peoples Front (NPF) called upon the gathering to vote for the party for peace and development in the forthcoming general election to the Manipur legislative assembly.
The minister was accompanied by several NPF central leaders including Political Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland Z.Lohe, NNPF committee member incharge of Manipur Election Zaku Vice President NPF, Timikha Koza member, Kruzakie, General Secretary.
The function began with invocation by Rev S.K.Hockey and welcome addressed cum introduction and presentation by Lokho Ozho, Tribunal General MSU. Special number was also presented by Adani Manehra Kapelo, Naga Idol finalist while benediction was pronounced by Fr.Vergese, Principal DBS Shajouba.
