Significance of development and progress of computer science

As we all already know by now, computer science has become a crucial vital integrated part of our lives; without us even having realized too much of its significance and input so to say. We may not even accept that we are more technological just for the mere fact that we don’t know how to program various computer languages; or how to operate sophisticated technology – this however does not bar the fact that we are indeed more reliant and technology driven, in going through our usual errands and commute. We are more technological than we think we could be.  

When we say computer science, it is nothing more but the implication of computer logic to program software/apps or machines, to function and complete assigned tasks so that the humans could exploit more leisure, and advance, all the while being more resourceful towards progressive civilization. Without computer logic (computer language)—computer—it appears as to be just a dumb old tin box…so chill humans – humans are smarter than computers.  

The first programming language was FORTRAN, invented in 1954 by a team at IBM; which although is irrelevant when talking about the significance of progress in computer science (let us just assume this writer to be handing out general knowledge!), when the fact remains that we have variety of computer languages today like BASIC, ALGOL, Python, Java, C, C++ etc.—each utilized significantly in certain aspects of software development. Java and C programming though stands out to be fluctuating in terms of popularity and is most widely used among modern programmers.  

The various programming languages are first coded in the text editor program, and then through the compiler program, the codes or source codes are compiled into machine language for the computer to understand and execute tasks. We can create our own software, games, program our robots etc. by learning how to code.  

While development of software or apps could be assigned as to a completion of certain projects the programmers are working on, and is indeed an integral accessory of the whole shebang that is computer science—progress of computer science covers broader spectrum about the potential of the whole concept of computer logic derived technologies. There appears to be yet infinite dimension of unexplored realms for the programmers to breakthrough and build virtual and simulated worlds, as more or less uncanny to our own reality. The possibility is limitless.  

For beginners, it is important to comprehend the basic knowledge and elements of computer programming. Computer science is expanding and without indulging the rudimentary factors and processes of coding, one may as well sway away from the entirety of progress through computing. Because, without initially setting up the learning dynamics to have access to the wonders of computer science—there could not be any progress in that field at all.  

This writer suggests to all aspirants of coding, both young and old…to take the time in extracting the abstract and seeing through patterns with however much effort and without giving up from exhaustion, because coding is the new big thing happening worldwide and that aside from the stereotype of being branded as a geek or a nerd, there is so much thrill and satisfaction embarking on this journey and exploring out the horizons of computing.  

As will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas [who now has started taking coding classes] quotes, “Great coders are today’s rock stars.” while being a little ironic I should say – coding is progress oriented benefiting not just the programmers but also the community and making the world get just a step closer to the future.
