As the Sinai Ministry observed 15 years of its establishment celebrating God’s Faithfulness at The Lighthouse Church, Dimapur on September 1, the Sinaians were stirred to ‘know Christ,’ ‘to press on’ and ‘to look around.’

Main speaker of the occasion, Dr Kethoser Kevichusa focused on the three phrases drawing references from Philippians 3: 1-21 of The Bible. Stating that the most important thing as a Christian is to know Jesus Christ personally, he added, “to know Jesus is to forsake everything, find Jesus and be found in Him.” He encouraged the congregation to let their righteousness be found in Jesus by faith.

“Jesus does not call us for a project or a cause but the ultimate call is to you as a person. Jesus is unique by any standard and so let us refocus on Jesus today,” he said.

Dr Kevichusa also said that to know Jesus is to press on in one’s calling with determination. He told the Sinaians that as a Ministry they had a unique calling and direction and encouraged them not to look back.  “Do not bask in the glories of your past as individuals and Church but live up to what you have attained as a Ministry,” he told the congregation.

Further, the speaker encouraged the congregation to look around them and at the good things that people were doing and concluded his sermon by quoting from the Bible, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.”

During the programme, founder/director of Sinai Ministry, Wabang Longchari spoke briefly about how the Ministry was started and how God has always been faithful to the Sinaians.

Publisher of Heritage Publishing House, Dr Lanusangla Tzudir and Alfred Amri and his wife Yala also shared their testimonies.
