Jakhama, March 22 (MExN): The Alumni Association of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama organised a one-day coaching programme on dart and rifle shooting for students on March 17 at the college auditorium.
According to a press release, around 100 students participated in the session, which aimed to provide basic training and exposure to the two disciplines while promoting focus, discipline and skill development among the participants.
The coaching programme was conducted by experienced trainers from the Nagaland Dart Association and the Kohima District Rifle Association. The trainers provided professional guidance through demonstrations as well as hands-on training sessions.
The initiative, the release stated, was part of the Alumni Association’s efforts to encourage extracurricular engagement and introduce students to diverse sporting activities.
