The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK), in pursuance of the representation submitted to the then Governor of Nagaland, His Excellency Shri. Om Prakash Sharma in January 1998, for the creation of EAC Hq at Azuyeto with a view to bring all the Northern Sumi Villages under a single administrative centre for the socio-economic benefit of the people of that area, and which has been assured by his excellency, would like to point out to the department concerned that the file is still in the office of the State Commissioner even after a passage of 8 years and despite earnest pursuance of the matter by the SKK.
In this regard, the SKK would like to know from the Commissioners’ Office the reason for not putting up the file to the government till date.
The SKK would like to further urge the DAN Government to look into its long pending genuine demand and take necessary positive measures for early creation of the above mentioned HQ.
