Dimapur, February 12 (MExN): SMART Bazaar has launched its largest-ever nationwide initiative, “SMART Bazaar Exchange”, aimed at enabling families to convert unused household items into savings on everyday purchases.
Positioning itself as a value retail destination, the company said the initiative offers customers an opportunity to exchange old newspapers, used clothes and old utensils at its stores for Rs 100 per kg, among the most competitive exchange values in the market.
The exchange value will be provided in the form of store coupons, which can be redeemed across categories such as groceries, home essentials and fashion.
The campaign carries the tagline, “Purana becho mehenga, aur naya kharido sasta.”
Commenting on the launch, SMART Bazaar CEO Damodar Mall said the initiative is designed to help families manage their daily expenses more efficiently.
“At SMART Bazaar, value is about helping families manage their everyday spending better. With SMART Bazaar Exchange, we are giving customers a simple, transparent way to turn what they no longer need into savings they can use immediately across their monthly essentials. This initiative strengthens our promise of being India’s most trusted value destination,” he said.
The company said the programme reinforces its focus on making savings simple, accessible and practical for Indian households, while strengthening its positioning as a trusted value retail destination.
