Smartphone Film Making in Kohima from October 17

Kohima, October 15 (MExN): The five-day training on Smartphone Film Making will be held at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations Kohima from October 17 to 21. The inaugural programme, at 10:00AM, will be chaired by Additional Director IPR, Dzüvinuo Theünuo and speeches will be delivered by resource person Prof Ajmal Jami and Registrar FTII, Sayyid Rabeehashmi, IIS.

The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in collaboration with the Department of IPR is organizing the training programme as part of the Azadika Amrit Mahotsav, stated a DIPR report. 

Special Guest, Sayyid Rabeehashmi, an officer of the Indian Information Service, has also served as Deputy Director in the New Media Wing, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, New Delhi. He briefly served as Nodal Officer for Social Media, ECI for Lok Sabha Elections 2019.

The course director will be Prof. Ajmal Jami, who is a reputed professional in the field of cinematography, visual content, and production and has over 30 years of experience in a diverse range of visual communication, including mobile filmmaking. He also served as HoD-Camera at NDTV news channel.
