Dimapur, February 13 (MExN): The Sumi Officers Union, Nagaland (SOUN) called a consultative meeting in connection with the imbroglio pertaining to Sumi Hoho tenure, constitution and other related matters on February 10. The meeting was attended by the office bearers of Sumi Hoho, GB (Kukami) Association, Sumi Community office bearers Kohima, representatives from all constituent units from Zunheboto, Dimapur, Mokokchung, Kiphire and Wokha districts.
SOUN, president K. T Sukhalu in a press release stated that after thorough deliberations, all issues have been amicably settled and the general body meeting of the Sumi Hoho will be convened by the first week of March 2011 by the existing Sumi Hoho team. The representatives from the 11 constituent units will constitute the search committee for the new office bearers.
