The NNC have to state once again that from the very beginning the Naga people stood and fought for Naga Sovereignty which was and is the birthright of the Naga people as a whole as declared by the NNC in the very inception of the Naga political struggle by the pioneers. And this is international problem as India and Burma (Myanmar) invaded Nagaland by military force in complete violation of international law. And the Naga political struggle was and is well known to the entire world as we fought for the last more than 60 long years.
Therefore, this political problem of Indo-Naga-Burma in reality should be settled internationally as the Naga people stood and sacrificed for, so none should bring piece-meal solution to the Homeland again like 16 points agreement of 1960 and Shillong Accord of 1975 rather the Naga National workers of all should unite first and bring political sovereignty of recognition. This is God’s plan and this is the will of the Naga people in common.
The NNC once again wish a very Merry Christmas to all the Naga National workers in particular, the people of Nagaland, well wishers and supporters abroad. May the Prince of Peace the Lord Jesus Christ bless and bring joyful peace to each and everyone in the Naga Homeland.
