Chümoukedima, September 26 (MExN): Tetso College, Sovima organised a freshers’ day programme for the 2025 academic session on September 26. The event was graced by Er Meshenlo Kath, Convenor of the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN), as the special guest.
In his address, Kath challenged students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, particularly within the context of Nagaland. He emphasised the need for a versatile skill set, integrity, and proactive learning to prepare for future leadership roles in society.
Earlier, College Principal Dr Hewasa L Khing officially inaugurated the academic journey of the new students, highlighting the institution’s legacy of academic excellence. She encouraged students to engage in critical thinking and community building, stating they were there not just to earn a degree but to shape their character as future leaders.
The titles of Mr and Miss Fresher 2025 were won by Avungthung C Kikon (MBA) and Tshetelolu Wezah (MA English).
